1. Run SETUP.exe and install as TRIAL
2. Copy PATCH folder CONTENT to "...TechSmithCamtasia Studio 8" folder
3. Run the PATCH.exe
4. ...ALL DONE

I replaced the original patch (after I run it) with the mediafire patch, and the activation worked.
When I installed Camtasia on my other pc, I didn`t run the original, but replaced it with the mediafire right away. On that pc, the activation window still comes up. Is that the reason it doesn`t work, or can it be something else?

@SteinGalen the patch folder has 2 files, if you have the activation thing come up each time you run camtasia, use the launcher to start camtasia (the launcher from the patch folder [add it to the install directory] and use it to start camtasia)
Where is the techsmith camtasia studio 8 folder and where is the install directory? sorry for sounding stupid.
